Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Craig Patrick?
That's a big question to start with. But that's okay. You don't hold back, and I respect that. So does Craig. He believes in asking the big questions. In fact, it's one of his core values. In a single sentence, I'd say that Craig Patrick is a meaning seeker, recovering ruminator, and unapologetic guilty-pleasurist who specializes in stumbling toward enlightenment and laughing in the face of adversity.
Is Craig Patrick also a musician?
Yes, and I'm so glad you asked! For purposes of cultivating an air of artistic mystery, Craig makes music under the name Giants of Diving. Check it out here or just search Giants of Diving on Bandcamp or your favorite streaming platform.
What kind of writing does Craig do?
Craig primarily writes critical essays and creative nonfiction (personal essay and memoir). Subject areas of specialty include psychology, creativity, literary fiction, poetry, music, and cultural criticism, but his writing experience is varied.
He has written artist bios, press releases, SEO-friendly product descriptions, and social media content for himself and other artists. In his former life as a special education school administrator, he wrote hundreds of Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents for students with a range of learning difficulties.
Of late, Craig has begun to test the waters of fiction writing. In most of his writing, humor is an essential component. He likes to laugh and to make you laugh.
How about videos? Does he make those too?
You know something? He really does. In addition to making social media promos and Giants of Diving music videos, Craig produces a (satirical?) educational video series called How-To Videos For a Better Life! Learn about it here and subscribe to the channel to experience immediate benefits.
